Each Sunday at Trout Lake, a group from the neighbourhood get together for juggling… once the sun sets, they bring out the fire poi. Clara loves to go, but has not quite progressed to fire poi, herself

As there are foreign literary visitors in town, I thought I would start putting together a tour of the lower mainland that corresponds to the “legends” in E. Pauline Johnson’s 1911 collection, The Legends of Vancouver. It is late, and I am tired, ,but my friends are already here… so this is the first draft. My project for this summer is to visit all of the sites I can my self and write more, include links, and generally build an online guidebook for early-Canadian-literature buffs or prospective victims…
